Join the University of Toronto Department of Family and Community Medicine’s UTOPIAN (University of Toronto Practice-Based Research Network) for a virtual workshop event on July 19, 2022. UTOPIAN is a living laboratory that partners front-line care providers with academic researchers.
The event is led by Dr. Andrew Pinto, UTOPIAN Associate Director in Clinical Research, DFCM, University of Toronto, and the Director of the Upstream Lab at Unity Health Toronto. All across Canada are welcome.
With the goal of augmenting research capacity in primary care, the workshop invites interested clinicians and early career researchers who have a nascent research idea and connects them with a group of experienced clinician scientists to help craft the idea into a grant proposal for Canadian Institutes of Health Research’s (CIHR) funding opportunities in the fall.
Key speakers include Department of Family and Community Medicine faculty Dr. Michelle Greiver, Dr. Noah Ivers and Dr. Aisha Lofters.
