The Senior Administrative Coordinator will coordinate and report on research activities across the PCRN. The incumbent will assist the Executive Committee in administrative aspects of the Network, overseeing human, financial and facility resources and performing various administrative duties; analyzing financial information and performing various financial related tasks; ensuring administrative policies, procedures and systems are followed; assisting with reports for the Executive and Steering Committees; and managing special projects and events.

Due to the complexity involved in managing a pan-Canadian network across provinces and territories, the following skill set in the individual is strongly preferred: demonstrated experience in research management, excellent administrative skills, experience working with interdisciplinary research teams, and expertise in working with clinicians, policy makers, scientists and patients. Completion of an undergraduate degree with a Master’s in a relevant discipline is a strong asset.

The incumbent will report to the Executive Director (based in Montreal) and the Chair of the Steering Committee (based in Vancouver). The individual will be a key member of the SPOR PCRN Management Team, members of which are based across the country. With excellent team spirit and a sense of camaraderie, the incumbent could be based anywhere in Canada, but with a preference for British Columbia. Training will be provided through an onboarding period. This is a one-year term position with possibility of renewal.
