CASCADES support for sustainable healthcare innovations
CASCADES is seeking proposals from teams of health professionals, administrators, and/or leaders in the Canadian healthcare system who wish to collaborate with CASCADES on service delivery or system design innovations that reduce the climate impact of healthcare or the healthcare system and may also increase climate resilience in their settings.
Expressions of interest are now open and are due January 31, 2023. Learn more about the types of support and how to apply.
Yukon SPOR Unit Health Summit
Registration details are now available!
The Yukon SPOR Support Unit will be hosting their first ever annual health summit on November 9th and 10th. The summit will be an opportunity to prioritize all ways of knowing, being, and doing. They will be discussing First Nations’ health priorities in the Yukon; OCAP and trust building; and First Nations data sovereignty. They have also invited colleagues from SPOR Units across the country to demonstrate unique knowledge translation approaches that were adopted in past projects. They hope to spark ideas and a vision for how to build the health research community within the Yukon.

This event will be hosted in-person at the Kwanlin Dün Cultural Centre, in Whitehorse, Yukon. Due to limited in-person capacity, Gunta Business is facilitating the event via Zoom. There will also be virtual community hubs set up in Dawson and Old Crow.

We are very pleased to share a recently published report and infographic which summarize the accomplishments and impacts of the PIHCI Network during Phase 1 of our funding from CIHR. The successes and strengths of the Network that are highlighted demonstrate how far we have come, and form the foundations on which we which we will continue to build.
