CPCRC Listening Session | July 22, 2026 | 12:00-1:00 PM EST
We’re planning to build CATALYST-PC: a pan-Canadian infrastructure that will connect primary care electronic medical records to other provincial and national administrative health data, enabling researchers and the health system to ask and answer questions about primary care access, quality, equity, and outcomes that are currently impossible to study at scale. We aim to generate evidence that can directly inform how care is organized, funded, and delivered across the country. CPCRC is hosting a meeting facilitated by Drs. Hedden, McCracken, Lavergne and McGrail, to bring together primary care researchers, clinicians, and policy and health system organizations to help shape what that research agenda should be. This is a chance to voice ideas about the questions this infrastructure could be used to answer. We want to hear your thoughts on what questions your organization or practice needs answered, and where linked clinical and administrative primary care data could change decisions, and possibly the health of people living in Canada.
